Florida AngelCare is not just a service; it is a testament to the belief that every aging adult and individual facing terminal illness deserves dignity, love, advocacy, and a peaceful transition.
As an end-of-life doula (also known as a death doula) serving Palm Beach County, Florida, Lara provides compassionate, non-medical support, elder advocacy, bedside vigil presence, and guidance for families navigating life’s final chapter.
We invite you to explore the services Lara offers in Palm Beach County and virtually, and to join us in fostering connections that bring comfort and steadiness during life’s most meaningful passages.
Thank you for being a part of our journey.
Lara Acemyan
Founder, Florida AngelCare

Welcome to Florida AngelCare, where compassion meets connection in the sacred journey of life’s transitions. Founded by Lara Acemyan, our mission is inspired by a profound calling to address the unmet needs of aging adults and individuals facing terminal illness — especially those lacking regular support.
Supporting families throughout Palm Beach County, including Lake Worth, Wellington, West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and surrounding South Florida communities — Lara offers guidance to those caring for loved ones locally or from afar.
The final stages of life can be a profound and delicate experience for both individuals and their families. Lara is here to provide spiritual support, advocacy, and deep connection, ensuring that every moment is filled with compassion, clarity, and a sense of peace.
Lara's Mission: To create a nurturing environment where families and their loved ones in Palm Beach County and virtually around the world can find solace, connection, and compassionate end-of-life support during life’s final chapter.
Through her experience volunteering in hospice care, Lara saw firsthand the gaps that can exist for individuals navigating the final stages of life. While hospice teams provide essential medical and spiritual care, their time is often limited as they support many families at once. As a result, many patients and loved ones quietly long for extended presence, reassurance, and compassionate connection during this tender time — something an end-of-life doula can help provide.
Lara’s calling to this work is also rooted in personal loss. Witnessing the unbearable pain that can arise when the natural dying process is not fully understood strengthened her commitment to helping families approach the end of life with greater clarity, peace, and support.
From this calling, Florida AngelCare was created — a response to the need for compassionate presence, advocacy, and spiritual support that extends beyond what medical care alone can provide. Lara’s work is devoted to ensuring that aging adults, the terminally ill, and their families are supported with dignity, understanding, and care.
Lara proudly serves as a board member of the Florida End-of-Life Doula Alliance (FEOLDA) and is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) and the Death Doula Collective, organizations dedicated to advancing compassionate end-of-life care.
