Welcome to Florida AngelCare, where compassion meets connection in the sacred journey of life's transitions. Founded by Lara Acemyan, our mission is inspired by a profound calling to address the unmet needs of patients in the delicate stages of life, especially those lacking regular support.
At Florida AngelCare, we understand that the final stages of life can be a profound and delicate experience for both individuals and their families. We are here to provide spiritual support and deep connection, ensuring that every moment is filled with compassion, understanding, and a sense of peace.
Our Mission: To create a nurturing environment where families and their loved ones in South Florida can find solace, connection, and spiritual support during life's final chapter.
Having volunteered in hospice care, Lara witnessed firsthand the gaps in care for patients in need of loving and compassionate support and guidance. The shortage of assigned volunteers left many individuals yearning for connection, their requests often surpassing the availability of the few compassionate souls present.
This experience ignited the vision for Florida AngelCare. It is our heartfelt response to the undeniable need for personalized and spiritual support that goes beyond the limitations of government-provided care. Everyone, regardless of their spiritual beliefs, deserves a connection that brings them peace and comfort on their unique journey.
Lara is a member of the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA), the Florida End-of-Life Doula Alliance (FEOLDA) and the Death Doula Collective.
Our experienced and empathetic spiritual team is here to provide comfort, support, and guidance, respecting and honoring all faiths and beliefs. Whether through prayer, meditation, or simply being present, we tailor our approach to meet the unique needs of each individual and family.
Advance care planning empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their end-of-life care. As your end-of-life doula, I collaborate with you to articulate your values, goals, and preferences to address your personal, emotional, and spiritual wishes, in addition to medical treatment. Together, we create comprehensive legal documents that ensure your wishes are honored, providing peace of mind for both you and your loved ones.
Our team is trained to communicate on a profound level, ensuring that every individual feels heard and understood. Our skilled team specializes in connecting on a deep level, transcending cognitive barriers. Through various techniques and approaches, we ensure that everyone, regardless of their cognitive ability, can experience a profound sense of connection.
Reiki Healing Sessions: Experience the soothing and healing energy of Reiki. Our certified practitioners offer Reiki sessions designed to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and enhance overall well-being.
